A workshop that builds stairs and railings, and wanted to be found by architects.

Smid is a four-person metal workshop in the Rotterdam port area. Their work was good, but it only lived in phone photos sent over messages.

The identity is stamped, not printed: a punch-set wordmark that can be struck straight into a finished piece. The website is mostly an archive, sorted by material and finish so architects can find a reference fast.
